HOW I BEGAN MAKING BUTTON JEWELRY
With a desire to capture and enhance the nostalgic aura these buttons posses; I began creating button jewelry as another option to wear these remarkable pieces. Besides my jewelry being the only one of its kind, every effort has gone into preserving the button in its most original form. Without glue, holes, paint or any other aftermarket effect, all button jewelry pieces have been successfully preserved with their natural beauty and more!

BUTTON JEWLERY INSPRIRATION
I have always had a fondness for buttons and initially began collecting them. Appreciative of their remarkable beauty I really felt their life stored in boxes, bags and sewn onto collectors cards use as closures on fabric did not give them the attention these pieces deserved. Determined to find a better way of displaying these buttons was the inspiration behind my jewelry making. Wearing them as necklaces or earrings seemed a better way to capture their essence and it was! Button jewelry and button collecting has been gaining popularity in recent years which adds much excitement to my craft. Through the attendance of craft shows and button collecting events throughout the year, I have met and been inspired by the large, growing community of button collectors and crafters. Thanks to all of them my love of buttons and jewelry making has evolved and continues to evolve in my creations!
